Entry

Wetherby Racecourse does not participate in the PASS card scheme.  Instead you will receive 4 Wetherby Owners Vouchers, which become valid if your horse is declared to run.  Each of these vouchers can be exchanged for a complimentary Owners badge and racecard at the Owners Entrance.  Your complimentary allocation is 4 badges, irrespective of the nature of the ownership (e.g. single, partnership, syndicate, etc).  There is no formal dress code at Wetherby although racegoers are encouraged to wear smart, casual clothing.

Facilities

Facilities available to Owners and Trainers with runners at Wetherby include:
  • Exclusive use of the new Owners and Trainers Bar, situated on the first-floor of The Old Members’ Stand and overlooking the Parade Ring.  The bar serves complimentary tea/coffee and sandwiches.  A small trackside viewing suite is reserved for owners/trainers with a horse engaged.
  • In addition, the Clifford Moor Bar on the Ground Floor of the Millennium Stand is also reserved for Owners, Trainers and Annual Badge Holders only. 
  • A number of tables are reserved for owners/trainers within the White Rose Restaurant which is located on level 3 of the Wetherby Millennium Stand.  Please contact CGC Events (Racecourse Caterer - Tel 0113 287 63 87) prior to the race day, quoting the name of your horse, to reserve a table. Please note that reservations are offered on a first-come basis and subject to availability. 
  • Reserved viewing area on the steppings of the Old Members’ Stand.
  • Remember that, for safety reasons, children under 12 are not allowed in the Parade Ring.
  • Discounted use, including extra badges, of private boxes.  Please contact our Sales & Marketing Manager, Michelle Campbell, (tel 01937 582035) quoting the name of your horse for costs and availability.

Location

Wetherby Racecourse is situated just of the B1224 (York Road) which can be accessed directly from the A1M at Wetherby.  Raceday directional signage, which is erected for all our fixtures, will guide you to the nearest entrance.  Once inside the Racecourse please follow directions to the Owners and Trainers Car Park  (Car Park D).  This Car Park will be reserved for Annual Car Park label and Wetherby Owners Voucher holders. The Owners and Trainers entrance is located adjacent to the Saddling Up boxes.

Photography and Dvd's

The Racecourse will provide each winning owner with a complimentary DVD  of their race and a photograph of the winning horse being led up after their win.
