The Summer is drawing to a close as we move into our favourite season at Wetherby, Autumn!
We cannot wait for Autumn to arrive, and it is no mystery why! Fast approaching is the Opening Meeting of the new jump season, which takes place on Wednesday 17th October and following hot on its heels just two weeks later is the most prestigious fixture in our calendar, the bet365 Charlie Hall Meeting.
A question we are often asked in the office is ‘What do we need to wear’ for racing at Wetherby, so this Autumn we are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Joe Browns, whose expert team are helping us with advice and suggestions on how to get you all raceday ready. Look out for updates on our social media soon, as we reveal what we have been up to.
Joe Browns are a Leeds-based multi-channel retailer, known for their wonderfully unique and distinctive clothing range. Initially an on-line and mail order retailer, Joe Browns also now sell via their QVC channel and opened their flagship store in Meadowhall Sheffield last year. You can also find items from the Joe Browns range in independent boutiques across the UK.
To add further excitement, we are delighted to announce that Joe Browns are supporting our ‘Most Stylish Racegoer’ competition that will be held on day-two of the Bet365 Charlie Hall Meeting on Saturday 3rd November. The competition will be open to all to enter on the day and we will be looking for racegoers who look remarkable and stand out in the crowd. Wetherby do not operate a formal dress code in any of our enclosures; so you can wear whatever you feel most comfortable and confident in. We have fabulous prizes available for both a male and a female winner on the day. Find out more about the competition here.
So if you want some great inspiration and suggestions for getting yourself race ready for the new jump season, then look no further than Joe Browns Blog – and check out their latest Autumn/Winter range on their website while you are there! We really look forward to welcoming you all back to Wetherby this coming Season.
