Racing Abandoned – Saturday 10th January 2026

Following an inspection of the track at 3.30pm on Wednesday 7th January, racing on Saturday 10th January has been abandoned.

Despite temperatures reaching +6C on Wednesday, there has been no improvement in the ground conditions, and we still have deeply frozen ground in places.

We apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the abandonment however safety for all is paramount.

With regard to those who have pre-booked admissions, the following procedures will apply:

General Admission

All orders for general admissions will be cancelled and purchasers will be provided with an automatic refund.

We will process all refunds as soon as possible within 14 working days from abandonment.

We will refund back to the card made to make the original booking payment minus booking fees which are non-refundable.

We will notify purchasers via email when refunds have been processed.

We are sorry we are not able to tranfer general admission bookings but hope you might consider re-booking for a future fixture.

White Rose Bistro Packages

Wetherby Racecourse will automatically cancel all orders for White Rose Bistro and White Rose Restaurant packages to credit on account within 7
working days of the meeting.

Account credits can be used to rebook admissions or packages, in part or whole and will remain on the account for a period of 12-months.

Customers will be contacted by a member of our hospitality team to inform them of this process and can at this point request a refund if preferred.

Refunds are not applicable to booking fees.

Private Suite and Dine and View Packages

A member of the Hospitality Team will contact purchasers directly to confirm if they would like to transfer to an alternative fixture. The option to receive a refund is also available.
