Medieval Day celebrates the ties we have locally to Towton, where the famous battle was fought in 1461!

Alongside the racing action we have a Living History encampment within the Paddock Enclosure, so you can see how camp followers lived back in Medieval times.  See what they wore, and watch them going about daily tasks, preparing and eating, weaving and making items for daily use.
