Wetherby Racecourse have proudly taken part in Brain Tumour Awareness Month for a number of years with their Wear A Hat Raceday.

Racegoers turned out in style on Friday 28th March for our annual Wear A Hat Raceday, an event aimed at raising awareness and funds for Brain Tumour Awareness Month. Despite blustery weather conditions, attendees embraced the theme by donning a wide array of hats in support of the cause.
The raceday featured a charity raffle and an exit collection, with proceeds benefiting Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity. Thanks to the generosity of racegoers and match funding provided by Leeds Building Society, a total of £6,836.47 was raised.
We were truly amazed by the effort our racegoers made to support such an important cause.
Every day, someone in Yorkshire is told that they have a brain tumour.
