The first of our 2020/21 Jump fixtures, supporting Spinal Research.
The original extreme sport returns to Wetherby. Jump Racing is back!
After a break through the summer we start the new season with a mid-week fixture and for the 30th Consecutive year we welcome the charity Spinal Research for their Northern Raceday.
Spinal Research is the UK’s leading charity funding medical research around the world to develop reliable treatments for paralysis caused by a broken back or neck. Every year more than 1000 people in the UK and Ireland are paralysed following an injury to their spinal cord, many of these injuries are sustained through racing or riding accidents.
Within our Enclosures our bars, restaurants and hospitality areas will be operating as usual, and you will find a Spinal Research Information Point in the Paddock Enclosure. Spinal Research volunteers will also be carrying out an exit collection on the day should you wish to donate.
We have all of our usual Restaurants and Hospitality areas available on the day, but there is also the opportunity for racegoers to support Spinal Research by joining them in their exclusive Hospitality Marquee, which you can find out more about by clicking this link.
Whichever admission option you decide on we are sure that you will have an enjoyable day welcoming the Jump Jockeys back to Wetherby Racecourse.
